Confronto tra auto al Nurburgring

[Corvette]

The Nordschleife (North Loop) is part of the famous Nurburgring circuit in Germany. The full circuit was abandoned for Grand Prix in the early 70's, after Niki Lauda's near fatal, fiery crash there. Sports car races continued until the early 80's until the current grand prix circuit was constructed. Fortunately, the full circuit is still used for Saloon Car races and private test sessions, and not least, it is open to the public whenever not in other use. It is the ultimate test for a performance car containing every conceivable type of corner.


The article (RIVALS: RING MASTERS) was done as part of a feature for a magazine in the UK. Other cars involved were the Nissan Skyline GTR V-spec in standard trim which did an 8.27min lap and a Porsche 911 (8.30min). We were very lucky with the weather, which although cold was clear and dry. The aim was to prove whether or not the Nissan Skyline could do a sub-8.00min lap. It couldn’t. The Caterham on the other hand was simply devastating, despite being short geared on the straights

Hai visto?! Putroppo manca la prova della M3 E46 e della CSL oltre che la 156 GTA

Mi sarebbe piaciuto vedere i loro tempi. Ho amaramente constatato che l' NSX non si è fatta molto valere :rolleyes:

Da che fonte hai preso questi tempi? alcuni mi sorprendono parecchio, quello dell'rs4 per esempio...avrà anche un motore potente ma per il resto è sempre una station wagon pesante e con sospensioni tarate per uso stradale...come fa a stare davanti
alla 355, a tante porsche e alle varie bmw M?:rolleyes: Bisognerebbe vedere chi erano i vai piloti che si sa, su questo tracciato contano tantissimo!
Nel testo dice che è un articolo, ma non penso che tutti questi tempi siano stati presi da loro!
